I am confident because He loves me [THE CONFIDENCE SERIES #4]

I am confident because He is faithful [THE CONFIDENCE SERIES #3]

One of the greatest battles we encounter as followers of Christ is the struggle against unbelief.
When our prayers go seemingly answered, when we don’t see the results we hoped for, when life hurls one curveball after another, we’re tempted to succumb to fear, disappointment, and to forget who is on our side.
In Hebrews chapter 3, the author is making a point that one of the most effective ways to fight unbelief is to consider Jesus, to think carefully about Him (Hebrews 3:1). By considering Him we will come to the realization that He is faithful, and that is all the confidence we need in the face of anything that comes our way.
If you’re going through a difficult time today, this episode will help remind you of God’s faithfulness to His people, always. Won’t you trust that He will be faithful to you as well?

I am confident because He is in control [THE CONFIDENCE SERIES #2]

Today we’re continuing The Confidence Series with a look at Hebrews chapter 2 where we will recognize another reason we can be confident: because God is in control.
Much like us today, the early Christian believers were living in tumultuous times. They confronted injustice, endured suffering, and grappled with a sense of uncertainty, all of which tempted them to forsake their faith.
In this context, the author of Hebrews reminds them, and us, that even when things look messy, when life is challenging, and our suffering seems to have no end, God is in control, and we can freely trust Him!
Our confidence does not hinge on our immediate circumstances but is rooted in the One who holds the entirety of the universe and its unfolding history in His hands.
Whatever difficulties you might be facing today, this podcast will encourage you to look to Him and find the confidence to go on.

I am confident because He speaks [THE CONFIDENCE SERIES #1]

I’m so excited to welcome you back to a new podcast series through the book of Hebrews I called The Confidence Series: How to fully trust God when I don’t see the way.
How do we navigate times of adversity victoriously? What do we need to stand unshaken in a rapidly changing culture? How do we replace our insecurities with immovable faith? How do we overcome disappointments and experience stability in the most unpredictable of times?
The author of Hebrews knows the answer—CONFIDENCE in God. Writing to a people living in turbulent times, challenged to reconcile the victorious Christian life with the trials they were facing and tempted to abandon their faith completely, the author of Hebrews urges believers to remain confident because of the things they know to be true about God.
I believe that now, more than ever, we need to become more God-confident and to remain steadfast in our resolve to follow Christ.

Unshaken faith when I am thirsty for more [ UNSHAKEN 30]

Have you ever felt restless or dissatisfied, despite having success, possessions, or even fulfilling relationships?
God has placed within each of us a holy discontent, a stirring, a desire for something more. It's a longing that cannot be satisfied by anything else but a deep and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
In today’s podcast we’ll look at Revelation 22 and delve into God’s invitation to us, the blessings that are still to come to those who seek Him, as well as learn how to cultivate a desire for more of God.

Unshaken when my faith seems pointless [UNSHAKEN 29]

Life often presents us with trials, doubts, and circumstances that challenge the very core of our beliefs. In these moments, it's natural to question if our faith truly holds any weight.
The lineup of men and women from Hebrews 11 certainly understand the struggle in our heart, and the way they responded to adversity, unfairness, confusion, or God’s silence, serves as a timeless guide for us during our most trying times.

Unshaken faith when I feel like a failure [UNSHAKEN 28]

What’s your relationship with failure like? Where do you see yourself as a failure and how have you responded to that failure?
John 21 is one of my favorite stories in the Bible. Here we encounter how Jesus responded to Peter after what was probably his biggest failure yet – the denial of Jesus before His crucifixion.
Instead of scolding him, Jesus loves him and points him to his purpose and calling.  
I believe today’s podcast will bring you hope and remind you that your failure is not the end of your story, but perhaps the pathway for future ministry.
