The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us into a new way of life that has brought fears, uncertainty, and tensions, and the wearing of face masks has become one of the most contentious issues. As a doctor on the forefront of the pandemic crisis I have been asked many times how do I respond to this controversy. So today I’ll answer a question related to masks and love of our neighbor.

Dear Lina: How should I submit to government when I don’t agree with it?

The more post-Christian we become the more tensions we’ll have with government rules and regulations. I believe today’s question is a timely one and will help us discern how to honor the government but still live by our conscience and God’s principles.

Dear Lina: Is the Bible still relevant and reliable today?

We live in a society or country where most people no longer consider Judeo-Christianity as America’s civic religion or ethical mooring. We are post-Christian and to be post-Christian is to be post truth. I have my truth and you have your truth, in fact, who knows if there is such a thing as truth? Well, that depends if we can argue for the reliability of the Bible as the inspired word of God, and not only that, but also for its relevance for today.

Dear Lina: I'm concerned about cancel culture

Dear Lina: I’m having a really hard time adjusting to the changes happening in our culture. I feel like I don’t fit in and that no matter what I say someone is angry at me. I’m more and more concerned about cancel culture and how it might affect me and my beliefs as a conservative Christian. What should I do?
