Many people in the U.S. are struggling right now with feeling disconnected from the church.
The reasons might be many. Maybe because of COVID, maybe because our way of life changed to a much more virtual reality, maybe because the state of affairs in the church has been troubled for some time, or maybe because we disengaged from the church.
How shall we recognize the cause of our disconnection from the church and how can we find the remedy?
Friend, I will frame today’s episode by asking three questions I’d like you to consider as you think about your relationship to your local church. I trust this will be helpful and encouraging!

All of us wonder at some point why difficult things happen when a loving God is in control or when His word promises so many blessings in this life, and it’s easy to question God’s favor or if He even cared when we go through sufferings.
But to associate God’s favor only with the good things in our life is a form of prosperity gospel that must be rooted out of our thinking. Take a listen!

This podcast will encourage you to take God up on His promise that He will answer when we call upon Him, but also to welcome seasons of silence as meaningful tools God uses for our growth.

Today’s topic might be a sensitive one but a necessary call to pay attention to what kind of messages we expose ourselves to and discern if and when it’s our responsibility to speak up and how to do it God’s way.

In today’s podcast I’ll address a politically oriented question in the hopes that it would shift our focus to the main message and mission of the church rather than political debate, and that it would prompt unity among believers rather than polarization.
