One of the most common deserts we go through is the desert of God’s silence.
What do we do when we get a sense that God has forgotten us, leaving us feeling isolated and confused? What do we do when we’ve felt stuck in a spiritual desert for such a long time, we have begun to doubt God exists at all? What do we do when God is silent?
Today’s podcast will remind you that although God might be silent, He is not absent. And although He might fail to respond in the way and timing we desire, He is inviting us to a walk of trust and submission to His ways.

Community and connection are no longer a given. We’re living in an era where our work, “social life,” relationships, and even church is done on a device. We don’t reach out to, relate to, or do life together, in person, with others any longer.
We can blame it on Instagram, TikTok, Covid, church leadership failure, or simply cultural influences, but there is no doubt that more and more people feel lonely even as we’re more “connected” than ever before.
How do we navigate the desert of community as believers, knowing that community is what we were created for, but also realizing the real challenges to building community nowadays?
Find out in this podcast episode in our Desert series!

We’re in a podcast series focused on addressing various deserts we might be going through, aiming to understand why God allows them, how He uses them, and what He accomplishes through them.
With Valentine’s Day just about the corner, I wanted this episode to address the desert of singleness and dating and encourage singles with some biblical and practical lessons I’ve learned from my own journey in singleness.
If you’re married or in a relationship, please listen as well. You’ll find plenty of principles that will apply to your life as well!

We cannot live in a broken world and not feel grief. Grief is deep sorrow that is a response to loss and pain, and it’s an emotion we’d rather escape. But Jesus himself was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief, and we can learn from Him that we can grieve and still hold on to hope.

Have you ever longed for freedom from negative emotions? Do you feel weighed down by unwanted emotions?
We all feel them: fear, anger, grief, shame, loneliness, insecurity… and we long to be free of them. Our feelings are complicated and even when we don’t like them, we can’t escape them. But perhaps we’re not meant to.
What if God gave us our emotions, even our negative emotions to deepen our relationship with Him?
Today I’m launching a new podcast series called I Feel That: Embracing a Biblical Response to My Negative Emotions that I believe will help you engage your emotions in a healthy way and find the freedom you’re longing for.ABOUT:
