Our life is made up of a series of choices, and our view of God will determine our choices every time. In the second part of Acts 5 we find the apostles facing persecution because of their bold proclamation of the gospel, but undeterred to teach about the Way. They chose to “obey God rather than man” and rather suffer unjustly than to dishonor the name of Jesus. What tends to motivate your behavior: the fear and love of God, or the fear of men?
